playlady Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 How can I make sure that the room I get wont just have a double bed in it? My daughter and I are both larger and need at least a queen, preferrably a king, to sleep in the same bed.
AaronJB Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy. While one can request two beds with the hotel, the hotel has the right to say no or may charge more. This is the case in NYC in particular where rooms are small and rooms with two beds often go for a premium. HOTWIRE, where one can indicate the amount of people in the party - is a better choice, as selecting more than two people (1 adult and two children, even if there isn't two) should ensure bedding for the entire party. That can mean two beds or 1 + sofabed or other combination. There is no way to guarantee a specific/exact bed type via either service. What would be your desired city, zone, date/s of travel, budget and star rating?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
