joandsco Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 First time using Priceline after finding this great forum.I was trying to get a 4* in the Phoenix area. I started bidding at 67 and was going up in 3 increments, gladly adding the surrounding areas which the map showed didn't have 4* hotels. I was hoping to get the Hilton Scotsdale Resort and Villas. I ended up getting the Radisson Fort McDowell Resort & Casino which was not showing in the Priceline map. Is this normal to end up with a hotel that wasn't even on the map??We are Canadians and this is our first time in Arizona - we needed one night in the area before driving off to Yuma to visit family. The hotel looks like a nice place.
joandsco Posted March 4, 2012 Author Report Posted March 4, 2012 I see what happened....this is a Resort and was included in my search. I should have only had 4* hotels in the search to try and get the Hilton Scotsdale. Live and learn!

dutchboy723 Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 You'll like it - we're Canadians that have stayed there. It's about 15 mins out of Scottsdale, but has a nice pool area and comfortable beds. The beds are air filled which is odd, but they are surprisingly comfortable. Enjoy!
