Priceline Hotel: Honolulu 2 Rooms in August

Looking to travel to Honolulu 8/15 arrival depart 8/22. I'd like to stay in a resort or 4 star hotel. I need two rooms (4pp). My son scuba dives and husband golfs. When is the best time to bid, what price should I expect and finally does anyone have advice on booking a flight from Philadelphia?

Although I am somewhat flexible because I'm looking for the best value. I'd prefer a resort #1 would be Ihilani and #2 would be Waikki Beach. As far as rates I was hoping to find something around $120 per nite, per room (needing 2 rooms). Having said all of this....I am open to suggestions based upon if there is a better value.

The Ihilani zone is now called Ko Olina, if you look at the zone bounaries (i'm not sure if they changed with the name change) i assume this zone is acceptable?

Did you want to bid up to your limit first in Ko Olina OR is your goal the least expensive Resort class property in either zone? You may also want to consider the Marina zone which often provides good value at the 4* level, but i don't think the difference in price will be that great, so you could try your first preferred zones, then if rejected consider lowering to 4* and/or include the Marina zone.
