Yellow Hammer
Hi Aaron - for the hotel in question, the date is for one night, checking in 5/13.Price per night is $48, list is originally $101Now there is also the 3.5 star one that has a HOTWIRE price of $60 (list price of $117). I assume that one is the Preston? Which I'm not too hot about, been there once a long time ago when it was the Radisson. Though if I could get it on PRICELINE for $45 I might do it. Link to comment

Yellow Hammer
done...also, site says 1.6 miles from the airport, which to me means either the Holiday Inn or Doubletree Suites? Link to comment
thereuare
Unfortunately this property has not yet been reported to the board.HOWEVER, note that the mileage is given from the center point of the zone, not the specific hotel being offered, so you can't use this information to help in determining the hotel (all mileage references for the same zone will be the same). Also, neither the Holiday Inn or the Doubletree offer a free breakfast, so don't think either of these are the property you're seeing here. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Yellow Hammer
question: how accurate is the description of "smoke free rooms"? If it is really accurate as opposed to say guarantee a room that is "non-smoking", then using the Hotwire filter criteria, I come up with 2 hotels in the Nashville Airport area that are 3 star, has an airport shuttle, a business center and a complimentary breakfast, and that is Hyatt Place and Residence Inn. Does this sound about right? I think I'll probably pull the trigger sometime today if it is accurate - I would be satisfied with either. Link to comment
Yellow Hammer
turns out another person in the group that I am going with did choose that same 3 star place for 5/13-5/14, and it turned out to be the Club Hotel Nashville Inn and Suites. Interesting, I thought that was a 2.5 star places. $63 after taxes and fees. Link to comment

Yellow Hammer
IMO not much of a deal. Priceline (and probably other places) has the room for the same night for $66 after taxes (outright, not by bidding), plus it has Club Hotel as a 2.5 star, not a 3. Link to comment
jfl
I can tell you the lobby and bar areas of the Preston are nice. More modern than a Radisson and nicer than Clubhotel. I've been to events at the Preston, but never stayed overnight. There's a new Dunkin' Donuts walking distance. The Alexis Inn and Suites - alexisinn.com - on Elm Hill Pike near Clubhotel and Preston always sports a banner of a $55 walk-in rate, but I've never stayed there.
