Any tips on when to look? I am looking to spend no more than $190 before taxes/fees but obviously am hoping to spend less. Preferably staying away from Financial District and whatnot as we will be out late most nights and a cab will be needed. Of course being over Easter weekend, everything is notably higher in NYC!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

What star rating is it that you're seeking? If less than 4* are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel OR would your goal be the least expensive hotel at the minimum star rating?

Rates are seasonally high this time of year, but may actually be a little less than usual due to the Easter vacation (not higher). However, you may also benefit from SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID, would this be an option or would you not want to change hotels after the first nite if it would save you some money?
