ofogao Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Hello everyoneI'm fairly new to this priceline thing so I need a little bit of guidance.I'd like to book a room for two days in March in Buffalo, more specifically the Amherst area.I see from the list of hotels at the 3.5 star range the Marriott is the only listed. The Marriott would be great if I can get it at a good price. Can anyone suggest a bidding strategy for this hotel??BTW, is it safe to assume that as long as you pick the Amherst area with a 3.5 star rating, you'll get the Marriott as long as they accept your bid?Any adive would be helpful.cheersofogao
thereuare Posted February 29, 2012 Report Posted February 29, 2012 Welcome to BetterBidding! The hotel lists only contain hotels reported to the board so there could always be others not yet known, a hotel already reported and but upgraded to the 3.5* level, or a hotel new to the PRICELINE system that enters this zone at the 3.5* level. So while there may be a 'good chance' of landing the Marriott, nothing is guaranteed. If you'd like help bidding on an upcoming stay, please let us know your actual dates of travel and your maximum bid, we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
