Priceline Hotel: Lakeview Best Western Hawthorne Terrace Bidding Strategry

Not many hotel options in lakeview. Bid strategy for lakeview, particularly the Best Western Hawthorne Terrace for 3/9-3/13? What price should I expect to pay?

There are very few (no more than a handful - 5 or 6?) of hotel options North of the city, and none have been reported to the board on PRICELINE (although there have been a couple of reports of HOTWIRE wins.) Additionally, it's unknown if the BW participates with the bidding side of the service - it may not.

With the lack of hotel options in this zone often comes lesser % discounts and less competition - as a result, downtown (which is just a short

"L" ride away) is almost always the preferred choice for those visiting the Lincoln Park/lake view area. If you would like us to offer suggestions on how to proceed for Lakeview, let us know - or if you would prefer downtown, please let us know.
