First bid at $45, but a strange message appeared from Priceline telling me if I added $13 more, I could rebid immediately. I could not submit a bid till I put in $58. So I did, and got it for $58.

I've seen posts mentioning "counteroffers", but how do you undercut and decline it? I'm a bit of a newbie here at bidding, and these forums have helped me a lot.

Thanks for the post... with so much time before your stay we encourage users to ask questions when faced with questions such as this as you can then save addtitional money.

You need to add a PRICEINE RE-BID ZONE as explained in UNDERCUTTING COUNTER-OFFERS.
