It was a surprise to get this hotel, since is just on the borderline with montjuic area, but after viewing all the reviews I knew I got a winner. Specially when the average rack rate is $300 per night and we will stay here before taking a cruise. Nice beginning! :D

Based on my research here, I was expecting either Hotel Universal o Colonial. I think I found the difference in Hotwire's description, at least with the Universal. Even though this one said "95% Hotwire reviews recommend", didn't said: "pool"; "Tripadvisor 4.5 out of 5.00".

I will let you know how it went, after I come back from our trip.
