This is believed to be the Sheraton Manhattan (not to be confused with the Sheraton New York which is across the street).

This hotel had previously been reported as a 3.5*, but it is believed to have recently been downgraded to the 3* level, although nobody has yet confirmed it with a purchase.

If you go for it please let us know the results.

It turned out to be the Sheraton Manhattan Hotel indeed.

Thank you for confirming the star downgrade in star rating on this property.

For the price and this early before check-in it's a decent deal, although the hotel gets mixed reviews. I was in the lobby a few months ago and the staff was very pleasant to me (although i had a baby with me and that seemed to be the jist of the conversation... which if often the case with me these days :) )... it'll likely serve your needs well, although there are nicer hotels in the city.
