thereuare Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 The 5* matches previous reports for the Trump while the 4.5* is a match for the PH Towers, this would be my best guess for each. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Tamynha Posted April 24, 2012 Author Report Posted April 24, 2012 I'm going to Vegas from Brazil and since it's an international trip we're planning it with months in advance... We already bought the airline tickets so those would definitely be the dates. Do you think it would be better if we waited 'till it's closer? And what do you mean by "Do you not have a desire to stay directly on the strip?" ? Of course I do! Thank you very much!Tamy
thereuare Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 Do you not have a desire to stay directly on the strip? Of course I do!The zones:4.5* Near Strip West4* Near Strip East4* Near Strip South area... by definition (the zone boundaries) are not located on the strip, so these wouldn't appear to be realistic options for this trip. The 5* Strip North property is likely the Trump and this too is not located directly on the strip. The 4* Strip South area Hotel $103 Trip Advisor 4.5/5Amenities:ResortFree ParkingFree InternetCasinoFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterGolf Nearby ... this one is a match for the Tropicana and this would be my best guess for this one.Not sure if an option or not, but if you are willing to SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID, you can probably get a 5* on the Strip for ~$120/nite for your first 2 nites... then change hotels to a different hotel for the last 3 nites (where i think your options are 5* Strip: $168/nite, 4* Strip $90/nite). There is also a chance that the two 5* hotels i'm seeing are the same (so you wouldn't need to change hotels mid-stay and the average cost for a 5* directly on the strip for the complete stay would be ~$150/nite... no guarantees it's the same hotel, but i think it's likely)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.
