Hotwire Hotel: help me choose 4* or 5*

I don't know what the better choice is for me. I'll be staying March 13-16. Here are the choices on Hotwire:

5* Las Vegas Strip- North Area Hotel

82$ a night recommended by 90% of Hotwire

Casino, Spa Services, Resort, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), High-Speed Internet Access, Kitchenette

OR

4* Las Vegas Strip- South

58$ a night recommended by 85% of Hotwire

Resort, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Golf Nearby

OR

5* Las Vegas Strip- South

114$ a night recommended by 90% of Hotwire

Resort, Casino, Fitness Center Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access

Any insight as what hotels these may be and which one is the better deal would be greatly appreciated. This will be my first time in Vegas and I'm taking my wife for her birthday so I want to treat her with something well. Would it be better to wait?

4* Las Vegas Strip- South

Tropicana

5* Las Vegas Strip- South

Aria

The Aria is the best of the bunch, imo... although the Tropicana was recently renovated and has received pretty good reviews since it was re-done, so the question is whether the 5* Aria is worth twice as much as the 4* Tropicana. The Trump is nice, but it's located slightly off-strip and not the ideal location for a first time visitor.
