Hotwire Hotel: 5-Star Hotel in Las Vegas .. North Strip. Will book ASAP

What a great website! I have been reading and doing several searches. Figure I may as well make a thread just to reassure myself that I am guessing correctly. I would appreciate if you veterans can verify my assumptions. :) ...Also, I ran into an issue as well. I am not sure what to do about this. I will explain further down.

The dates, Check In: 2/24/12, Check Out: 2/27/12

So I did a search on hotwire and priceline.

For PL: The Strip North 5-Star Hotels include Palazzo, Venetian, and the Wynn. All of which I would like to stay at (Prefer the former two as I've already stayed at the Wynn before).

For HW: The Strip North 5-Star Hotels include all of the above in addition to Encore and the Trump. I like the Encore but would not want to stay at the Trump.

HOTWIRE is quoting me 120/night for 2/24-2/26 and 116/night for 2/24-2/27

I would have booked this by now but with HOTWIRE i believe Trump is a possibility. I changed it to Check In: 2/24, Check Out 2/26 and Trump disappeared. It only shows Palazzo/Venetian/Wynn. From what I understand, hotwire offers "add an additional night" and that is exactly what I'd like to do. I would like to book 2/24-2/26 and use that option. Is this the correct way to minimize my chances of receiving the Trump? Is my reasoning correct? Should I just put a bid into PL for the equal to or less than HW's rate since I like all 3 hotels?

Oh, I will definitely use the link to HOTWIRE or PRICELINE from this site from now on. I wish I saw this yesterday when I booked my ticket through priceline! And I will report back to which hotel I received along with the rate.

From what I understand, hotwire offers "add an additional night" and that is exactly what I'd like to do.

This is not offered on every purchase, and even when offered, the hotel may not be available at the same price as your original purchase. Are you willing to change hotels after the first two nites should you not be able to add a nite?

What are the amenities associated with the HOTWIRE hotel you are considering purchasing?

Why not try bidding on PRICELINE for the Strip North zone, given that the Trump is in the Strip North Condo zone?
