liveforbargains Posted July 4, 2005 Report Posted July 4, 2005 After trying to get the Manhattan Beach Residence Inn and being rejected at $45, I went to the Torrance, Carson subsection of the Long Beach area and bid up to $50 for 3* and was rejected. I then bid $42 for 2.5* and also was rejected. I waited 72 hours and won the 2.5* Marriott Courtyard at $45.

liveforbargains Posted July 4, 2005 Author Report Posted July 4, 2005 The correct area is Torrance/Carson but this is a sub-section of the Long Beach zone. The hotel is called the Torrance/Palos Verdes Marriott Courtyard and is on Sepulveda Blvd in Torrance. Sorry for the confusion!
