Priceline Hotel: marco island resort

Would love some help. Feb 23-24 Marco Island resort? Any idea which resort it could be? It has swimming,business center and 8 plus rating. Also Sanibel for that same time, 3 star upscale with swimming and an 8 plus rating. Where could it be and what should I bid? Thanks

Even though PRICELINE has started to show amenities associated with the hotel at each star level, you're not bidding on a specific property, the amenities shown are those which are common at all hotels of that star level. So for example, if there are FIVE hotels in a zone rated 4* and they all have a pool, then PRICELINE will show this amenity... if only 4 out of 5 of the hotels in this zone at this star rating have a pool, then PRICELINE will not show the Pool amenity.

When using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. If you're trying to take a guess as to the hotel you may receive before your purchase, HOTWIRE may be a better option as you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property. The trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE.

We didn't end up booking a hotel, prices were too high.
