I was having a hard time getting all five nights together due to the weekday portion of the trip. I decided to break up the trip into two parts. Switching hotels will be a hassle, but worth it in the end to save money! I initially bid 3* for Bethesda at $55. Priceline immediately countered with $69. I added a free re-bid zone of Mount Vernon and increased my bid to $60, which was accepted by the Hyatt Regency. I am definitely OK with this as it is directly next to a metro stop. Being close to a metro stop is more important to me than the actual area as we will be using the metro as our primary form of getting around. I will now sit back and be patient for the second leg of the trip! Link to comment
