uimagine
Used this forum and researched the hotel lists. Used the HOTWIRE link here and booked my travel.4.5 Stars, NYC Downtown - Soho - Financial DistrictStaying 4/26 - 4/30/2012 (4 nights)got the W Hotel Downtown. What's strange is that when I search for 1 room, price was $165 a night, but when I searched for 2 rooms, the price went up to $175 a night per room. I needed the two rooms so couldn't take the chance to book it separately. ( I know there's an 'add to your stay' option, but again, didn't want to risk it.) I just clicked the add to your stay option right now, and additional rooms are only $165...WTF.....Oh well. thereuare
Congratulations on your success! Hope you're pleased with the outcome and looking forward to your trip.I've been recommending this place lately if you're looking for a casual place not too far from your hotel to eat one nite (it's a restaurant, not a slice shop):Adrienne's Pizzabar54 Stone StreetNew York, NY 10004(212) 248-3838Very reasonably priced for the quality of the ingredients used, although drinks are a bit on the high side... stick with the 'grandma style' rectangular pie as that is what they are most well known for, although if you need more food than that, i've also added some antipasto, manicotti, etc. which have been very good as well.Thank you for sharing your results and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase. Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
Rookfan
We enjoyed Thereuare's recommendation as well and stayed there. However a little tricky to find the location. If you like hand-made pizza it's a must to visit Adrienne's. Absolutely delicious, and more than you can eat for two. Enjoy. Link to comment
uimagine
thereuare, thanks for the tip. I'll definitely check this place out. NYC has so many hole in the walls, but it's such a hit-or-miss unless somebody recommends a good joint. But one thing they all have in common, is expensive drinks =). Link to comment
