Hotwire Hotel: 4* Los Angeles (Century City - Westwood) Palomar

Very excited about this win.

* Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet

* Had backup reservations at this hotel made through Kimpton Hotels website for $232.

* All 4* appeared to be $200+ / night, even the BackBid bids I received.

* Did not want to try Priceline since I'm very much afraid of the Hotel Angeleno.

* BiddingHelper didn't work unfortunately. It apparently doesn't play well with Hotwire using Paypal as a payment option. When trying to go the the Paypal site, the page never loaded. So, I had to go back and use the old fashioned HOTWIRE link at the top of the page.

PS- sorry you couldn't use PayPal from within the BiddingHelper.com site, but in the future once you're ready to make your purchase, RIGHT mouse click the 'see details' link of the hotel you want to purchase and select 'Open Page in New Window'... you'll then be able to complete your purchase in the new window and not have to re-do your search again.

OK, thanks for the tip. I tried that but only on the page where paypal didn't load, and it still didn't work. I might have done the "Show this frame only" though. Also, I wasn't sure that you would get referer credit if I opened in a new tab or window.

Either 'new window' or 'this frame only' should work, but whichever method you choose you'll need to do that before the page where PayPal wouldn't load. I know there are some fixes on the web for this, but the page we're discussing is a HOTWIRE page, so not something that we have any control over.
