stacyl Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I am looking at bidding on the only 4* hotel in Clearwater beach which I am guessing is the Hyatt Regency. I would be very happy with this hotel except I am worried about being assigned a smoking room. Since I will be traveling with my toddler this is a deal breaker for us. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
AaronJB Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There are no guarantees in terms of non-smoking with PRICELINE, but you can call/email the hotel after purchase and put in a request. Hyatt has a PRICELINE email that can be used to make these requests, if you do win the Hyatt (which is the only 4* that has been reported to the board in this zone; there could always be others not yet reported.) With HOTWIRE, you can look for a listing with a non-smoking amenity in order to guarantee a no-smoking hotel. What would be your desired budget per night, and date/s of travel?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
stacyl Posted February 19, 2012 Author Report Posted February 19, 2012 thanks! Where do you find Hyatt's priceline email? We will be traveling May 20-24 and I would like to spend less then $160 a night, inc tax. And if I do bid I will be sure to do so through the link!
thereuare Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Their email would be on your winning PRICELINE bid page. However, even by emailing them it doesn't ensure that they will be able, or willing, to accommodate your request. As noted above if a non-smoking room is a need (vs. a want) then choosing a HOTWIRE hotel with a Smoke Free amenity listed would be the better/safer route. It may cost you a little more, but you'll be assured of getting what you want. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
stacyl Posted February 19, 2012 Author Report Posted February 19, 2012 Thanks! I will take a look on hotwire. I wish all hotel were smoke free!!
