n2ny
Was having trouble winning a room in University City at less than $85, then unsuccessfully played with some 4* in Rittenhouse, then decided to go with the tried and true $65 bid for the 3.5* convention center area (hoping it would be the Marriot, where we usually stay and love) and it was! Priceline's average room price for a 3.5* was $179 (compared to $144 for a 4*). Go figure. Happy. As always, used your PRICELINE link. Now, if Hotwire would just start listing some hotels in Medford, MA for April 19 . . . I have a slightly discounted room booked through the hotel but hoping to score a deal. Link to comment
