petlover Posted July 3, 2005 Report Posted July 3, 2005 I've been bidding 4 star in the Beach area of Ft. Lauderdale (trying to pigeon hole Hyatt Pier 66) for January '06 and had NO LUCK whatsoever. I've bid up to $130. I think I'm just bidding too early for January. I would be very happy with the Marriott Marina as well (Downtown area) but haven't added that yet because it sounds like people are more likely to get the Renaissance than the Marriott.I think I need to just sit tight awhile. Luckily, I already have a "cancelable" reservations which I may or may not ultimately need. It seems like the prices for winter '06 are much higher than they were for '05.
