ClaireCrowe Posted July 3, 2005 Report Posted July 3, 2005 I was actually hoping to get into the Towneplace Suites again because we enjoyed it so much the last time we were in the Springs, but I don't mind the Hampton Inn. I like the close proximity of the Hampton Inn to Old Chicago Restaurant. Hampton Inn also has a free hot breakfast, which is a great big plus (and Towneplace doesn't have this feature).I started my bidding at $30 and was accepted right away.Bid $30Taxes and fees $10.18Total $40.18Best price on their website was $109. I'm happy.
thereuare Posted July 3, 2005 Report Posted July 3, 2005 Seems like a great rate!I think the 'mid-level' hotels have really been making a name for themselves with the perks they offer... many of which include breakfast, free hi-speed internet, evening cocktail receptions, etc. It's nice to see such properties working hard for the business... and of course we, as consumers, benefit.Enjoy your stay.
