Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Miami (Miami Lakes - Hialeah) Holiday Inn Express Miami Lakes

Hi,

First time I am bidding on priceline.

Travelling to South Florida from March 5 to March 11 and trying to stay close to $75 but get a 4* if possible but can go higher.

First preference is South Beach or Miami Downtown but dont seem to have had any luck upto $95 even with 3*s. Also, I believe these will not offer breakfast or free parking. Some may also charge for wifi.

Any ideas on what the best offer will be 1- If I want to stay on the beach/downtown, and 2- If i dont mind driving around but getting a 4* at the lest possible cost.

Let's take this one step at a time. For Miami Downtown and/or South Beach, rates are very high for these dates and your budget looks like it will be very difficult. Downtown will likely cost you in the mid-$100's and South Beach in excess of $200+. As well, in these areas you should expect extra charges for parking (and likely internet)... and possibly resort fees in South Beach. Even a 3*/3.5* will likely run into the mid-$100's.

Since you've already tried for a 3* in these zones up to $95, what is your next step? It's hard to follow your goal(s) since what you say you want is different than how you've bid... after failing in Downtown/South Beach at the 4* level it would have appeared from your post that you would have then wanted to try other zones at the 4* level, but it seems you lowered your star rating for these same zones?

Please confirm your goals for this trip.

Here is what I got....

2.5* Holiday Inn Express Hialeah = 4 x 85 + Taxes/Fee = 416 (or 104/night) for 3/6 - 3/10

3* @ Kendall Hotel And Suite = 85 + Taxes/Fee = 105 for 3/10 - 3/11

What is your opinion/review about Kendall Hotel and Suites? I was going for the 2.5* Holiday inn in Kendall but got upgraded.
