luxury on a dime Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 There are very few recorded winnings in the convention center 3* category. However, my family is targeting the courtyard convention center and residence inn convention center, both are in this area and 3*. So I hope there aren't any "surprises" in that area/star rating, please help identify hotel listing for that area/star rating. Thanks.
AaronJB Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 Unfortunately, there is no way to know for sure which hotels may participate on the bidding side of the service for sure, as not all properties that participate on the retail side participate on the bidding side, and some may go long periods of time without being seen. Unfortunately, there are not many reported wins at this star level in this zone, and the only hotels that have been reported as wins can be seen on the site's Priceline Hotel List. HOTWIRE would be another option, as well.If you are interested in taking the risk with PRICELINE, please let us know date/s of travel and desired budget.Additionally, if you bid 3* in this zone, you could also possibly get upgraded to a higher star level.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
luxury on a dime Posted February 20, 2012 Author Report Posted February 20, 2012 Let me clarify my intent, I plan to travel with my family including a small toddler. Therefore having a refrigerator and possibly a kitchenette would be the most important requirement in selecting a hotel to stay. Are you aware of anyway to filter by that criteria? I understand in talking to my coworkers that most Vegas hotels close to the strip don't have a frig, or have a frig but filled with hotel provided snacks.
AaronJB Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 There is no way to narrow down a hotel that guarantees a refrigerator or kitchenette when using PRICELINE. With HOTWIRE, you can look for a listing that lists "kitchenette" among the list of amenities in order to guarantee kitchenette.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

luxury on a dime Posted February 24, 2012 Author Report Posted February 24, 2012 My budget is around $100 per night tops, of course the lower the better since we won't be utilizing the onsite facility much aside from what's in the room. However frig and kitchenette do come in handy.
AaronJB Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Are any listings with "kitchenette" showing in the amenity set when searching for these dates on HOTWIRE?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
