Priceline Hotel: Assistance need for 9/28 to 10/2

Can any please advise a new strategy:

for 9/28 to 10/2:

tried use,usw, cathedral hill, civic center on 4* one at time

bid 70 through92, no luck

Do I have to wait the 72 hours or is there another way to get a 4*, besides going to hotwire?
