xthechaostheoryx Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Hello--Looking for Priceline bid help trying to get a 4* hotel in NYC the weekend of 3/30-4/1. Willing to stay anywhere in NYC but preferably in lower Manhattan. Looking for a rate of less than 150/night (hopefully closer to 120/night). Any help would be great!

xthechaostheoryx Posted February 13, 2012 Author Report Posted February 13, 2012 I have been using the betterbidding links throughout the morning to try and get a great deal, still working on it though.
AaronJB Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 What have your bids been so far in terms of zone/price?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
xthechaostheoryx Posted February 13, 2012 Author Report Posted February 13, 2012 I have gone from 99-130/night in the following zones with no luck:Downtown - Financial District Empire State Building Area Lower East SideSoHo - Tribeca Chelsea
thereuare Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 Willing to stay anywhere in NYC but preferably in lower Manhattan.Since you haven't bid for a hotel "anywhere in NYC" yet, are you ready to include all acceptable zones at this time OR still trying to target lower Manhattan?Based upon current rates i think you have a shot at a 4* hotel in the MTE zone (and including ESB may help too) within your budget... but currently you may need to drop down half a star to get something at $150 or less in the Downtown area.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
