Hello--

Looking for Priceline bid help trying to get a 4* hotel in NYC the weekend of 3/30-4/1. Willing to stay anywhere in NYC but preferably in lower Manhattan. Looking for a rate of less than 150/night (hopefully closer to 120/night). Any help would be great!

I have gone from 99-130/night in the following zones with no luck:

• Downtown - Financial District
  
• Empire State Building Area
  
• Lower East Side
  
• SoHo - Tribeca
  
• Chelsea

Since you haven't bid for a hotel "anywhere in NYC" yet, are you ready to include all acceptable zones at this time OR still trying to target lower Manhattan?

Based upon current rates i think you have a shot at a 4* hotel in the MTE zone (and including ESB may help too) within your budget... but currently you may need to drop down half a star to get something at $150 or less in the Downtown area.

Just wanted to circle back with what I ended up booking on PRICELINE (sorry it is so delayed!). I ended up getting two nights (3/30-4/1) at a 4-star hotel (Intercontinental The Barclay) in Midtown East for 150/night.
