trekkie
My intention was to get a room at west hollywood and not Downtown LA...Im still not sure as to what to do but i got it...Bid USD50.00 first try(Beverley Hills-west Hollywood)-rejectedBidUSD55.00 second try, had to add downtown even though i didnt want toSuccessfulIt would be extremely expensive for me to have to rebid again :) but i guess i have only myself to blame...It doesn't help that Priceline customer care has an agent by the name of Amanda who is certainly rude, un sympathetic and oblivious to computer errors.Your Offer Price: $55.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $55.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $15.30 Total Charges: $70.30 Link to comment
thereuare
Sorry to hear of your bidding error.I think you also have to understand Priceline's position... they probably get 100's(?) of contacts a day about users who have made a mistake. Unfortunatley, they have no idea who has has truly made a mistake and who is trying to get out of a winning bid (either because they don't like the hotel or because their plans have changed), so it easier to enforce their stated rules.Nonetheless, hopefully you'll enjoy your stay and fortunately it is only for one nite. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
holtju2
My intention was to get a room at west hollywood and not Downtown LA... There is not WeHo zone any longer but rather West Hollywood/West LA. It is almost impossible trying to get the Hyatt if that was what you were looking for. You might as well get Crowne Plaza as I just did or Doubletree. Link to comment
