I should have known it was unlikely, since Hotwire's price for the 3.5* (Crowne Plaza) was $118 compared to about half that 2 weeks ago. Variety is the spice of life, life is like a box of chocolates, etc. This is the previous Adam's Mark. Recent reviews are mixed and indicate renovations may still be needed / in progress. Best website price was $90/night (average) plus tax, so 50%+ discount. Used BB's PRICELINE link to start bidding.
