Christina6309 Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 I currently am booked at PH from 4/6-4/11 at an average rate of $103 per night before taxes. I just found this site and am just looking into bidding on PL to find a cheaper deal for something similar, or paying the same for something better. Any suggestions as to what I should bid on? I was hoping for something mid strip so maybe bidding for 4* on north strip. If so what is a good starting bid? Also, I looked at the 4* hotels on the south strip and would really like to stay no farther down the strip than MGM/NYNY area. It doesnt look like theres anyway I can guarantee not picking any hotels farther down the strip huh? Thanks!
thereuare Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 Welcome to BetterBidding! How about the Aria for $108/nite... would that be worth the extra $5/nite room rate? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Christina6309 Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 Yes! That would definately be worth it.
AaronJB Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 When searching for 2 adults for these dates, I'm seeing a 5* South Strip on HOTWIRE w/Resort, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business for $110 (the price you see may vary slightly.) That would be a possible match for the Aria.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Christina6309 Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 Boo. I didn't realize resort fees are not included in the Hotwire rate (and I have been using the links here to get to the site!) Now to debate whether that is a deal breaker.
AaronJB Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 Resort fees are not included in either PRICELINE or HOTWIRE totals, and are paid at the hotel. Regular rates are also charged the same resort fee on top of higher initial prices.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
