i want to rent a midsize car for me and my girl starting 05/11/12 to 05/25/12 in Miami. Insurance (1Mio USD without any own contribution) should be included as well as a miles. I am German and i found a midsize class car for ~440 at Alamo. Their category would be "SC"

Insurance is not included in PRICELINE bidding or HOTWIRE purchases, and while i know in Europe this is often/usually included in the rental rate, in the US this is always additional.

I think it will be tough to beat your $440 rate, assuming that is the 'all-in' price including taxes, fees, and insurance.

I would assume insurance at ~$15/day, which adds up to $210 over the course of your rental, leaving only $230 day including taxes and fees for a 14 day rental...which given how much rental car taxes are, will likely be very tough to beat for a mid-size car, imo.
