Hotwire Hotel: 2.5* Houston (Medical Center - Astrodome) Extended Stay Deluxe Medical Center La Concha Lane

The only pinned 2 1/2 star hotel listed for TX - Houston (Medical Center - Astrodome) was Holiday Inn Express.

The lesson here is you need to pay attention to amenities. The current offer, which I accepted at $61 + fees, has a property with Fitness Center, Pool(s), Laundry Facilities (self-service). This clearly is not what is shown with HI Express but I was hurrying and tired.

Stuck with Extended Stay Deluxe at a pretty weak discount compared to rack rate and other recent bids for better properties. There are horrible reviews on this hotel in several places. I have less than 12 hours in the property so will live on and do better next time.
