Hosspicker Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 I need 2 rooms in LAS 3/8 to 3/12. Bid for south strip on Priceline but was rejected up to 101. I would consider North strip but am concerned I might get the Trump. Is the Trump in the Las Vegas Strip North vicinity zone or is that zone limited to Palazzo, Venetian, Encore, Wynn all of which I have stayed at and was happy with. Also, is there a best day of the week to bid on Priceline like a day when they may have more inventory? Thanks for your help.
thereuare Posted February 9, 2012 Report Posted February 9, 2012 Welcome to BetterBidding!If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages.As of last report, the Trump is in PRICELINE's Las Vegas Strip North Condo zone, so you should be able to safely avoid this by only bidding the Strip North Zone, and not the Strip North Condo zone (every now and then there is usually a report by a new user who says they only selected the Strip North zone and won the Trump, but when inquiring further we usually learn that they mistakenly selected the Strip North Condo zone OR we don't hear back from them, so i attribute it to user error). At the moment (based upon current zone boundaries) I would feel comfortable including the Strip North zone and assuming that i could avoid the Trump, however, ultimately the choice is yours if you are comfortable bidding the Strip North zone or prefer to stick with the Strip South zone.Separately, are you familiar with and using your re-bid zones?
