Priceline Hotel: Resort Aruba The Westin Aruba Resort

I'm looking to go to Aruba 3/3/12-3/10/12. I would like to sty in a nice place, 4* preferred what is the difference in 4* and Resort? I'm new to Priceline. I saw a recent winning bid of $158, that's about my price range.

Thanks. I went for the 4* at $162 and was unsuccessful. I guess I will try again tomorrow. What is a more likely amount to shoot for?

I'm guessing you'll likely need to bid between $180-$220, but with some time on your side i'd simply increase your bids by $10 every 24 hours... up to whatever amount you're comfortable with; do you have a maximum bid in mind for this trip?

I couldn't wait! I booked PRICELINE thru your website and got the Westin RESORT for $220 after they sent a re-bid. I am happy with that. Is there a difference in the RESORT vs the hotel? Thanks for your help!

Just FYI. The week I'm traveling is college Spring Break so they may play into my costs....
