I am looking for a hotel for 3/10/12-3/15/12 in Palm Springs, in the downtown area or Cathedral City. I have tried up to $160 for resorts and $110 for 3 star hotels with no results.

Would anyone be able to help me with what would be a reasonable price?

HOTWIRE has a 3.5* hotel in the Palm Springs-Cathedral City zone for $114/nite with:

Resort, Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa

This matches previous reports for the Doral Princess (3* rated on PRICELINE) and is just a few dollars more than you have already bid. Perhaps try bidding on PRICELINE one last time and then taking this 3.5* HOTWIRE offer, assuming this works for your plans?

Sorry I never posted back - this was actually for my brother and his friend so I didn't follow up with them. However, I did forward them this site's link and my brother recalls using the link.

they have the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa for $182.57 x 4 nights plus taxes of $113.50 = $843.76 (Mar 11-15)
