Rissa2011 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Hi,I am now looking to book Zurich Marriott (5 star) in central Zurich. Since there are no re-bid zones, do you have suggestions on the price I should start with? Also, am I able to click on the links you provided previously to re-bid once again? Thanks,Serissa
thereuare Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Keep in mind that you're not bidding specifically on the Marriott, but for any 5* hotel in the Zurich Central zone. You will only get one bid every 24 hours, but you do have plenty of time on your side, what is your maximum bid for this trip? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Rissa2011 Posted February 8, 2012 Author Report Posted February 8, 2012 I'm willing to bid between $100 to $150 given that it's a weeknight. Thanks,Rissa
thereuare Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 It appears that weekend nites are actually cheaper than weeknites, but regardless, have you checked hotel direct rates at the Marriott for these specific dates... they start at $482/nite.Under $150 doesn't seem like a very likely rate for success, but with time on your side you can try $100 and increase $10 per day until you hit your $150 limit... from there you can re-think your budget, zone, or star rating. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
