Looking for a 4* in Downtown or Capital Hill area for the dates of 7/6 - 7/10.

Looking at the betterbidding site I see that several have made successful bids at $80 and landed either the JW Marriot in Downtown or the Grand Hyatt in the Capital Hill zone.

So I started my bidding at $70 and have now gone all the way up to $90 by adding zones without 4* and I STILL have not been accepted.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to BetterBidding!

It is not advisable to solely use somebody else's winning bid to determine your own, as rates are based upon supply/demand for your actual dates... doing so can easily lead to wasted bidding opportunities and/or overbidding.

With that said, a quick look at rates at the above properties for your dates are higher than when we have typically seen bids accepted at the amounts that you have bid. If you let us know your maixmum bid we'll advise of a strategy for you to follow.

I wonder if I would do better if I did 2 seperate bids. One bid for the Wed. and Thursday nights and one bid for the Fri. and Sat. nights.

I have now bid up $105 without success.
