Bid 3.5 star instead of 4 star to avoid this place. Got stuck with it anyway. Stayed there last month and HATED it.

Sorry to hear you're disappointed in the results and weren't able to avoid this hotel, which apparently has been downgraded since the last time you won it on PRICELINE. Do note in the future that you can't avoid a property simply by bidding lower than the current star rating, since the star rating you choose is the minimum that you're willing to accept, so you could always be upgraded to the higher rated property you're trying to avoid.
