Priceline Hotel: 4* Vancouver (Downtown) The Westin Bayshore Vancouver

I used BB's links to check out both HOTWIRE and PRICELINE, and decided to try my luck with Priceline using the valuable tips I've received from reading this site.

I first tried Vancouver (Downtown) with a bid of $70 for a 4* in March. Rejected.

I used the tips I learned here to add another area with no 4* available (White Rock) and increased the bid to $73. Rejected.

I again added a 'ghost area' (City Hall) and increased the bid again to $80. Again, rejected!

I closed my browser and started again, this time adding Langley as a bidding area and offering $83.

I received the Westin Bayshore!

I had checked out what was presumably the Listel on Robson on Hotwire and it was also $83, so I am very happy to be staying at the Westin for the same price.

Thanks for all the help I've received from this website. It's fantastic, and I've already recommended it to two people I know. :)
