Looking to book 2 rooms in a 4* for 3 nights April 20-23. Been bidding in all downtown Boston areas with $150 and no luck. Will this get easier the closer we get to our dates, is there a timing rule that is best to bid ahead of your trip (1 month, 1 week)? Thanks.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please start by reading your messages.

There is no set answer for timing your bid, but for a discussion of this subject see the related 'Bid Early or Close to Check-in' link in our PRICELINE FAQ.

However, have you check retail rates for these dates, as they're much higher than usual so i suspect some event is taking place in the city over this weekend (it doesn't take much demand to move hotel rates in Boston). What is the best deal you're able to find thru traditional booking channels? (see MAPS and HOTELS.com to assist in your search) What is your maximum bid for this stay? Which zones have you included in your bidding?

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
