Hotwire Hotel: 4* New York City (Chelsea - Madison Square Garden) The New Yorker Hotel Ramada Plaza

Looking to head down to NYC for a needed getaway with the lady. Having never stayed in NYC, we are looking for something that will be very comfortable, but easy to walk to most attractions.

Any help as to which hotel this may be?

4* Chelsea - Madison Square Garden area hotel

Dates: 2/11-2/14

Amentities include:

Fitness Center

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

The rate seems to be very good right now, at $115 per night (total $427.82).

Either going this option, or possibly looking at the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel, directly off their website for $591 (the views look incredible).

The Doubletree Chelsea has been seen with this amenity set previously, so that would be my guess.

I went ahead and booked it. It turned out the be The New Yorker, by Ramada. Seems like a better location that the Doubletree, but maybe not up to par with the "moderness" of the room.

While not the hotel you were expecting, this is a very nice deal for this property, and the location is much better than the Millennium UN. This hotel is directly across from Madison Square Garden/Penn Station so there are many subway lines in the immediate area to take you in whichever direction you'd like to go.
