esmcblurm3 Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Looking to head down to NYC for a needed getaway with the lady. Having never stayed in NYC, we are looking for something that will be very comfortable, but easy to walk to most attractions.Any help as to which hotel this may be?4* Chelsea - Madison Square Garden area hotelDates: 2/11-2/14Amentities include:Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access The rate seems to be very good right now, at $115 per night (total $427.82).Either going this option, or possibly looking at the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel, directly off their website for $591 (the views look incredible). Thanks in advance!
AaronJB Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)The Doubletree Chelsea has been seen with this amenity set previously, so that would be my guess.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. esmcblurm3 Posted February 4, 2012 Author Report Posted February 4, 2012 I went ahead and booked it. It turned out the be The New Yorker, by Ramada. Seems like a better location that the Doubletree, but maybe not up to par with the "moderness" of the room.Either way, looking forward to the trip. Thanks!
thereuare Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Congratulations on your success! While not the hotel you were expecting, this is a very nice deal for this property, and the location is much better than the Millennium UN. This hotel is directly across from Madison Square Garden/Penn Station so there are many subway lines in the immediate area to take you in whichever direction you'd like to go.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us update the Hotwire Hotel List with the new star rating for this property. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
