ras67
Any guesses as to what property this might be on 2/4/12? 2 star Hotel in Near Strip EastThis Hotel features the following amenities:3.0 out of 5 at Trip Advisor (should I be worried about this?)Airport Shuttle Pools Restaurant(s) Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Thanks! thereuare
A guess would be the Super 8 with a new hi-speed internet amenity, but i'm not certain.Personally i would try for something better than a 3.0/5.0 Tripadvisor hotel (and the 2* rating)... if you're trying to do this on a budget i would sooner take the 3* hotel in the near strip east zone with huttle, Restaurant, Pool, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business which i'm guessing to be the Holiday Inn. This HOTWIRE offer is 90% recommended by previous HOTWIRE guests, gets a 4.0/5.0 Tripadvisor rating, and gets 4.5/5.0 on all measures that HOTWIRE asks previous guests to rate (except for location where it gets a 4.0/5.0, but this is understandable in Vegas if not using the main strip zones)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. ras67
Thank you. That one does seem like a good deal and today is listed at $45 which is totally doable.Today I also see a 3* in the Downtown area for $34. Amenities are: Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, RestaurantRec'd in 85% of reviews. Plaza Hotel possibly? Link to comment
thereuare
Yes, the Plaza has previously been seen with the amenity set above so that would be my best guess for the 3 star property. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. ras67
I should have taken my time, but I used a rebid zone that I didnt check properly, I guess. I was trying to get a 4 star in the South Strip and added Summerlin and went up to $80 and was accepted. Red Rock is supposed to be very nice but I really wanted to be ON the strip. Link to comment
thereuare
This is the second time in as many weeks that we've seen this mistake...While Summerlin does not have any 4* rated hotels, they do have Resort class properties, and as a result your 4* bid was upgraded to a Resort class property. The star rating you choose on PRICELINE is the minimum that you are willing to accept, and PRICELINE will always upgrade you if a higher rated hotel is available.Sorry you didn't receive a hotel in the zone that you expected, but hopefully you can make this work for your needs.Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay.
