Jaded Traveler Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 The Hotel is Best Western at 200 Tigue St, Dunmore. It's listed in the "Scranton - Poconos (Scranton)" list on here as 2.5*. Some other lists nave it at 3*. As I said above, I've won bids at both 2.5 and 3*. I want to believe it is not a full 3* facility, I can say this because I've stayed at the other 3* props listed, and this one is a step down. Although PL does not necessarily have to grade it that same way.

thereuare Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 A hotel will only have one star rating at a time, but it's possible that the hotel has flip-flopped back and forth between star rating... it could get downgraded, the hotel makes its case as to why it shouldn't be downgraded so it gets upgraded again, then a negative review comes in and it gets downgraded again... it's always a very changing environment.Currently this property is 3* rated and i have updated the Priceline Hotel List accordingly.Can you please add a reply to this thread with the winning bid amount and dates of your last purchase of this property so we can edit the topic title accordingly have have this thread appear in the calendaorfwins.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks.
