jmg2150 Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 Hey i'm heading to Tampa/clearwater for March 23-27 to go see the Phillies spring training. I was looking for a 3-3.5* in the westshore/tampa area, and bid starting at $45 then $50 and didn't get anything. I was thinking of waiting until about a month before and trying again. Is that a good strategy? or does timing matter that much? Any advice would be great! Also, yea, not paying for parking would be awesome too, any suggestions/thoughts? oh sorry i posted this as a reply to another post orignally.. sorry!
AaronJB Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)What zone/s would be acceptable? If this is both Spring Training and likely Spring Break for many, rates are likely to be higher - what would be your desired budget per night?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
jmg2150 Posted January 31, 2012 Author Report Posted January 31, 2012 Hey thanks for your help! I'm looking to spend between 40-50 per night tops, and am not too familiar with the Tampa/clearwater area, so anything relatively close (within 20-25min drive) to the stadium would be fine if its a good place. Tampa airport area seems like it has the most hotels so I thought i'd be able to get the best deal there.
thereuare Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 I'm looking to spend between 40-50 per night tops...This may or may not be realistic, what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel for these dates? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.PS- you can also use MAPS and HOTELS.com to enter the address of the stadium location and see hotel rates for hotels nearby and quickly see how much more/less it would cost to stay closer/further away and to go up/down in star rating Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
