propr'one Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 I'm looking to book a hotel for 4 nights between 25-29 April. I'd like to stay on either collins' or ocean. Ideally i'd like to spend around 100$ a night. Is it reasonable to think I can get ***1/2 or ****?I can spend a little(15-25%) more if necessary, and will consider south beach -central zone also, although closer to the beach is better. Should I start bidding now? What is my best bet? Any advice is appreciated :)

thereuare Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 I'd like to stay on either collins' or ocean.Do you mean that anywhere within the (South Beach - Collins Avenue Oceanfront) and (South Beach - Ocean Drive) is acceptable?Ideally i'd like to spend around 100$ a night. Is it reasonable to think I can get 3.5 or 4*? ... I can spend a little(15-25%) more if necessary$100 is probably not realistic, what do you want to set your maximum bid at before considering the South Beach Central zone?Let us know the above and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. My absolute max would be around 150$, and i'd like to get a nice hotel for that much money, otherwise i'll just get a place in downtown miami and drive to the beach. I'm really looking to get the best bang for my buck, and am open to suggestions. Thanks,
