Ben1977 Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Was wondering if you can bid on the raddison grand lucayan?
thereuare Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages. You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Ben1977 Posted February 16, 2012 Author Report Posted February 16, 2012 We are wanting to stay from 3/25 to 4/1. The amenities are Resort, Beach front, fitness center, pool, restaurants, business center, golf nearby, laundry services, tennis nearby, spots service and children activities. This is a 4+ hotel.
thereuare Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 I don't see a 'Freeport' zone on HOTWIRE, so i'm assuming that this is in their Grnad Bahamas Island zone, which includes Freeport? This amenity set has previously been reported to be associated with the Westin at Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort. However (and if you've been researching this area you can correct me if i'm wrong), i believe this property has since changed hands and became the Grand Lucayan Radisson Resort... and that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Ben1977 Posted February 16, 2012 Author Report Posted February 16, 2012 Yes sorry, it is the grand bahama islands.
