Hotwire Hotel: NYC vs Jersey for June travel

Should I bid now or to wait for June travel for NYC? Everything seems to be very expensive. Priceline or Hotwire? What will my luck be? Wonder if the below hotel is the Lincolor harbor Sheraton. $130/night. Thought this may be a better option than staying within the city. Any suggestions?

June in NYC is still pretty nice temp-wise and prices will likely remain on the high side. Late June and into July is traditionally when prices start to cool off as the weather gets hotter.

Thanks for replying. We are looking in travel dates from 6/4-6/10. Right at $200/night if all possible.

My guess is that the property above is likely the Sheraton Suites, and while it's do-able, it's on the lower level rung of the 'best choice ladder' in the area. I wouldn't necessary recommend staying here for nearly a week as a NYC substitute... is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?

These amenities are very common for NYC (or a 4* hotel in any city for that matter) and the Alex, Doubletree Metropolitan, InterContinental Barclay, Omni Berkshire, Roosevelt and W New York have all been seen with this amenity set. Given the 4.5/5.0 TA rating (which is excellent) my best guess among these is the Omni Berkshire, but you should at least be prepared for any of these.
