Hotwire Hotel: 3* St. Petersburg - Clearwater (St. Pete Beach) Sirata Beach Resort

I just booked the Sirata Beach Resort for $67 a day for three adults through the BetterBidding HOTWIRE link.

Thanks to the forums, I already knew about the $8 a day parking fee.

I wanted to try Priceline for the first time, but I didn't want to wait 24 hours after my first low ball bid. This will be my third vacation in St. Pete Beach, FL. We've stayed at the Grand Plaza and Tradewinds in the past. We absolutely love the area and beach, but haven't been too pleased with either our past hotels. I'm really looking forward to the trip and trying out the Sirata.

We stayed at the Sirata last year, we loved the location and our room looked out at the ocean, the rooms are quiet, abit dated but nothing we couldn't deal with. The kitchen was nice and had a full size fridge! big plus! There are grocery places within walking distance and a liquor store! Be nice to the front desk people and they will give you a great room if you ask.

Have a great time, we are planning on returning this fall to the Sirata!
