Could never imagine that if I booked via BB HOTWIRE link and then tranferred to Hotwire the currency could be others than USD. However the amounts are in EUR and I didn't notice ! Considering todays currency rate it should be multiplied by 1.3 to get USD.Would have never taken it, but now I need to do. Sh.... Link to comment

HOTWIRE sets the currency to whatever it was the last time you visited their site. You can change the currency drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to US Dollars and all future searches will then be in US Dollars (unless/until you change it to something else).You can try calling HOTWIRE and let them know if you were on a public computer or something like that and see if they are willing to work with you in any way.Enjoy your stay. Just for the "calendar of wins" and to avoid confusions of other bord members. Other "tax+fee" amounts are not of much interest (I don't know that amounts in USD ;) ) so please delete them from my report. Thanks. Link to comment
