florep1 Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 Had a wonderful stay. Hotel is very easy to find. An older 2-story property but in pretty good shape. Was given a decent sized room on the first floor. It had to have been handicap access room though as everything was very low, close to the ground. Didn't ask for a double bed but was happy as it fit our needs. Free wired broadband internet access worked well. Inroom coffee was good. Bathroom was decent sized, nothing fancy. TV had 70+ channels with HBO. They also have an outside pool and sauna that I didn't bother to check out as I didn't have much time. The breakfast area in the lobby looked nice but we didn't eat there as there are lots of restaurants close by. Area is very close to the Galleria and proximity to the Dallas tollway makes it asy to get around. 2 stars in my book, 2 1/2 * may be stretching it but definitely worth my $24/night bid. Wouldn't mind staying here again.
grizparker Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 We enjoyed our stay and it is definitely close to Belt Line Rd, which has MANY places to eat.Drawbacks: - Beds were "too soft." We sunk into the beds and woke up with back-aches. - No Elevators.
