Bateman Posted January 28, 2012 Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 Hi, New to priceline. Looking for a hotel over a weekend. 3/16 and 3/17. Starting with 4* bid South Strip $90 rejected. Then went 4* and 5* North and South Strip areas $95 rejected. Then closed the system and included 3.5 star, 4 star and 5 star North and South Strip at $91. Comfortable with this as the 3.5 star seemed to be only in South Strip. Luxor, Westin Casuarina and Flamingo. Priceline countered with $115. Rejected and rebid at $100 (plus fees/taxes) and successful. Good rate for a weekend I think and exactly the hotel I wanted as it is a 4* really and short walk to the center strip junction. Maybe could have got it at $95 not sure? Link to comment
